Multicamera editing

Hi,

Can anybody be of service? I still haven´t succeeded in solving this problem:

4 minutes of footage from 2 camcorders. One in 1920x1080 50i. The other in 1920x1080 50p

In position Multi-camera Editing everything freezes. It takes up to 20 secs before anything happens in Playback Screen.

Software is Windows 7 SP 1 64 bits

Processor Intel i7 2,93 GHz

RAM 8,00 GB

Is it possible to obtain anything like Proxyposition for the editing onlly.
