Multiple Issues with 2021 version

Hello, I installed MEP 2021 and have a couple of issues.

1. On every program start the Install manager pops up. All selections are grayed as everything has been installed

2. When video mp4 clips are imported, they go out of audio sync when you move time bar over them.

I have done several re-installs and no change. Also I have a functioning version of MEP 2016 and several other similar product that also are functioning. I have never had a functioning product....:(

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

This is a common problem with video from a mobile device or screen recording and many video editors.

Use MediaInfo to analyse the video clip, in the Text view of MediaInfo, Video section if you see this line

Frame rate mode: Variable

the video is the problem. To fix this the existing video run it through a video converter eg Handbrake to change the frame rate mode to Constant and import this onto the timeline.

If the frame rate mode is Constant, post the entire text from the text view.
