Music Maker 2013 - can you make a master TRACK and use it to fade EVERYTHING in/out?

If it can't do this, why did I buy it?

I can either create a mixdown and see if that will let me do fade-in/out at beginning and end of song....or try exporting the parts and using Cubase to do it...or create the final song and use  WaveLab to finish up.

I'm still waiting on the ridiculously long downloads in Samplitude Music Studio 2013 to finish so I can try using that.

You've already answered your own question.

Inelegant.

Export it to .WAV and then master it in WaveLab, I guess, for routine stuff. For something more complex guess I'll see if I can export _everything_ to .WAV and then make it into a Cubase project.

Once this idiotic - doesn't save the downloads in the Download folder like it should but downloads every time - Samplitude Vita 2 thing finishes I'll see if that program is any "better."

Thanks.

In your master track you can either create a volume envelope and do your fades there or, you can enabel automation in the master track and fade it out. This should work if it is anything like Samplitude.

Or, you can use the Fade In/Fade Out "handles" to do it simply and easily.

OK. I got both Magix Music Studio 2013 and Samplitude Music Maker 2013. The latter is most excellent and rather than going to each and every track to monkey with fade handles I just pump things through a Bus and make an automation track for the volume. I'll play some more with Music Studio and make sure there's nothing in there that does the same. The idea is to put one on my carry-about laptop for casual play and the more serious one on the home machine with hard-wired connections to the keyboards, mixers and such. I may buy another Samplitude....

Thanks everyone...
