Music Maker 2013 Premium says click Catooh Button? Where is this button? The email states: "Package including 1,000 sounds To download the sound package, please click on the "Catooh" button after installing Music Maker 2013 and follow the instructions" and gives a serial number - I have looked and looked and looked and I cannot see any Catooh Button. I also searched the database of Q&As, and only found misinformation and inaccurate answers, so please don't tell me it's for another program, or some such. By the way, What a great program!

If I remember correctly, the Catooh link button is in the far upper left...your display format may be so great that it is off the page, if not , slowly move your cursor around and when you find it, it will "highlight" and then you  can click on the link.

'another way, I believe is possible, is to go up top to the "HELP"  link and I believe it shows 3 or 4 options and one will be a link to download instruments and soundpools...or something like that.  Depending on your connection speed, it can take some time so be patient and then follow the prompts to install all the trick stuff.  Remember to register as you have life time download privledages for the Magix producat you purchased...also try to remember to visit the support site aat least monthly as there are paatches and other fixes.  I have separated my soundpools into different folders and made copies of them on USB dongle.

In my opinion, and music magazine editors, Magix gives you a lot of bang for the buck....if you aare a true newbie, go slowly...What do you want tto do ...and how am I going to do it ?  Have a plan.  Save your projects often....play tahem back after every 2 tracks, that way if something is messed up....and it will....you will havae a real good ideaa as the where the problem is and how to fix it.  The  User guide is very good, so use it...yu will find lots of interesting stuff about stuff you didn't know you could do....one last thing....You cannot "sell" your music if you haven't purchased a licsence form Magix

Thanks. I see no Catooh link in upper left in 2013 premium. I was able to finally register at Catooh and download the soundpool bonus files. You said you kept yours in different folders - does the program remember where they are once you access them from inside the program?

What is confusing about the offer was that the "Bonus Content" and the "Best of Soundpool" are actually both on Catooh; very confusing with separate links and serial numbers; I accessed the Bonus files through the help/update program/download free - but that was a lucky find. For the Best Of, I had to register with Catooh, and that was messed up, frustrating and took way too long; but I finally managed to download and install the files, so I'm sure it will be worth the effort.

I am not a nubie, but every time the program gets improved enough to update to it, it takes a while to get used to the new one. I've been composing with Magix for over a decade, both music and video. Let's just say I'm more creative than technical, so thanks for your help!

The Catooh button is in the middle  far left just below yur track pane....its like a little flattened balloon, but you were apparently sucessful by clicking on the help link at top of program.  You create a separate folder and move yur soundpools there, always remembering where THERE is and remembering what you named this new folder.

You can always do a copy of this so that the soundpools remain in the MM program itself....but if you ever have a problem with soundpools, you will have them backed up and in pristine condition.  I also back mine up on USB dongle, so, yes, I have 3 copies basically, but I have 65 soundpool styles and paid for everyone and don't want to lose them.....be caareful when downloading the soundpools in the future as you can get duplicates.  Anoather thing I did was I have played every instrument in every soundpool style because  I paid for them and I want them to all work !!!!....and guess what, some didn't, and I went back to Magix on several occasions until collectively we fixed them all.  5 months down the road,  if you open a style and want to change the pitch, and it doesn't work, what do you do ?  your tech support window of opportunity is used up and so you come to this forum and ask for help....what I found was the file extension name was different for this pitch as oppose to all others.  I changed athe extension name to what the others were and everything worked fine....you just never know

Just a note of thanks for the helpful answers.

On my version of Music Maker 2013 Premium there is no Catooh icon. There is one in the Movie Maker 2013 Premium, on the far left. My displays are native resolution in fullscreen mode.

Thanks again.
