Music rights on Youtube - Movie Editor Pro

I am using the full version of Movie Editor Pro and uploading videos to Youtube.
The channel shows me the claims for the music that is included in the program.
Does this mean that despite purchasing the program, I have to purchase an audio license separately?
If not, what should I provide for YT support so that the claims are not displayed.

Hi Wojciech, and welcome to the user to user forum.

The Music tracks available within Movie Editor Pro are not copyright free. You can obtain licences but they tend not to be cheap. Better to use the free tracks available at YouTube. VPX music samples should be able to be used but even there, there have been problems in the past. Music and YouTube can be a minefield.

Having said that, look up the conditions of your copyright strike. It may just be you can't monetise that video but can keep the track in place. Other times it can mean a replacement track will be needed.

Hi

To add @CubeAce comment the sound loops and Sound Track Maker loops are for personal use only.

See the licence conditions as found on Producer Planet for the non commercial licence sections 1 - 4.

This means you should not be using the audio loops in your videos where they are available in public setting / public broadcast, and/or money is being made on them.

Even though you may not be making money, Youtube are with the adverts that will be added to your channel, unless of course you are paying Youtube for a 'commercial' advert free channel.

There is a difference between the terms Copyright and Royalty free. Copyright of the sound loops and styles belongs to Magix. Royalty free means you do not have to pay someone, usually the author, for every 'play' of, or using, the audio.

I too would recommend Ray's solution - 'use the free tracks available at YouTube' - as the easiest to do in this case. Fighting Youtube can be difficult, frustrating and, in the end, fruitless.
