When I record bass guitar into Music Studio 11 it only records one wave form and sound only comes out of the left speaker.
I have experimented with the 48+v setting as well as the input/DAW mix on the usb audio interface (Steinberg UR22C) with no change.
How can I get Music Studio 11 to record on both channels instead of one?
I figured it out. First add the audio track to record. Then right click on that audio track in the lower right of the Music Studio application. Go to Input. In my case, The default setting on the Yamaha Steinberg USB ASIO needed to be changed from the default to Input 1 which I plug into. Hope it helps someone.
Good thing you found a way. Technically an instrument like an electric guitar or bass outputs a mono signal. So it was correct that you only got one audio channel.
