wondering if anyone can help, does anyone know a way of using the VIP files on another program so it will set up the tracks automatically. any help would be grateful. Thanks
@RavNik Even old VIP projects from Music Studio 6 should still be compatible with Samplitude Music Studio X8 or Samplitude Pro X8. You can try the free 30 days trail version, if you don't have an old version of Music Studio or Samplitude. It could be that certain effects will not load because they no longer exists, but your audio objects and things like automation curves should load fine.
Then simply export each track as a WAV file which can be loaded by any other DAW.
Samplitude Pro X8 can also export projects additionally as AAF or OMF which can be opened by some other DAWs like Pro Tools or Nuendo.
