Muting tracks

Ok, stupid question time. I've got the basic software, but how do I mute track one and just hear the music on track 3?

Hi,

It's a good question as although it should be obvious, there is a trick.

Press on M to open the Mixer, slide the volume control on track 1 to the bottom. Don't click on mute on a track unless you want to turn off both audio and video on that track.
