I am using  Magic Music 2013 Premium.

Sorry. My QS6 is hooked to my laptop with the midi cable and in the program MMMaker 2013 Premium under the settings, Audio/Midi,I have checked the Wasapi and all is good. HOWEVER, after changing a bunch of crap on my QS8, ( global settings needed to be changed to enable midi out..) NOW, the only driver selection the produces sound is DIRECT and there is a delay od the sound after a key is pressed. but I am getting sound at least.

Thank you for your help and understanding.:)

NEVERMIND, I FIGURED IT OUT MYSELF AND BTW, YOUR "THEIR" SHOULD BE SPELLED "THERE" SO THERE

You're right.  I let my feelings of inferiority creep out.  Maybe you could respond with a little more understanding for those of us who don't know what they are doing.  I'm 60 years old and and am trying very hard to comprehend all this stuff. So, please forgive my snippiness.

If I knew what I had done to make it work, I would be happy to share.  I somehow managed to make the ASIO (?) driver work and now have a tremendously wonderful sound pouring from my speakers.  Like a Steinway on Steroids!

But I have no clue what I did to make it work.

Again, I apologize for my snippiness

Thoughts?  Sure.  For one, proof-reading your question before you post it would be helpful.  It does us no favors if we have to try to guess what you're trying to say.

Secondly, you've provided us with absolutely no information about your set-up.  How was the QS6 connected previously and how is the QS8 connected now?  What differences, if any, might there be?  Was the QS6 chosen as the MIDI input device previously and is the QS8 now chosen as the MIDI input device in the settings?

If YOU were to answer this question, what other details might you think to be important to convey?

You have no right to get snippy when your posting is riddled with errors.  You're also not going to get any more help if you're going to spit in the faces of people who are trying to help you.  Time to grow up.

And, since you solved the problem all by yourself without anyone's help, I'm sure you wouldn't mind sharing the solution with everyone.
