MY MOVIE EDIT PRO 2022 CANNOT BURN TO DVD

choplife wrote on 5/6/2022, 6:50 AM

Good afternoon. I have tried to burn my project into DVD 4 times now, it will render and when it is almost copying to DVD it will crash. I have follow instruction on the Magix technical page by saving the project as MVD file and opening a new project and importing the MVD file. I still get the same problem when copying to dvd during burning. I need help as I have just upgraded my PC recently and not expecting this problem at all.

@choplife

Hi

Did you get any error messages when the crash occurred? If so, what was the full error message?

To get the burn data from the logfile - use File Explorer browse to the folder

C:\Users\Username\AppData\Roaming\MAGIX\Videodeluxenn_premium

where username is your computer logon and nn= a 2 digit number, possibly.

If you cannot see the Appdata folder, it is a hidden folder, then type %appdata%\Magix into the address bar of File Explorer as shown below and then press the enter key

Locate the videodeluxe.log file and open it with Notepad, scroll down to the bottom of the file then locate the last entry that starts with a date time as shown below

-------------------------- 25/11/2020 21:21:10 --------------------------

25/11/2020 21:21:10.756:   DLLAV32.DLL loaded, all entry points available

and look for an error code in the lines following the above and post the error message in your reply.

Note  each line in the log will start with a date and time stamp

Added: did you get a Nvidia graphics card for the new computer?

Thanks for your quick response. I attached the photos I took with my phone. When I get home I will do exactly as you instructed. Meanwhile I don't have a graphic card yet though I am looking at buy GTX 1660 super from eBay next week. The computer came with Intel UHD graphic 630 onboard card and is fast for rendering and saving project to video file for me. Please check the attachment.

Good morning. Please do Magix has any software like PluralEyes for synching Audio with video?

Hi

Are the drive D: and the DVD Burner both external USB devices?

The error message error code 0xc0000005 Access violation can be caused by another program, a hardware misconfiguration, hardware failure/failing/overheating among other things.

Is the error is not consistently repeatable over a range of different projects ?

Currently only Magix VEGAS Pro has it.

One is Red Giant PluralEyes which is a little expensive. The other one was written by a Vegas user : https://www.vegascreativesoftware.info/us/forum/happyotter-audiosyncr-a-new-tool-for-syncing-audio--130392/

@choplife @Nalmcruto

Hi,

Movie Edit Pro Plus/Premium has a feature to sync audio with video, or rather sync the audio of one video clip with the audio of another, assuming that they were recorded at the same time; and, sync an audio file with the audio of a video clip. Select the audio objects to be aligned. Right-click on the audio that is to be the one to be synced to, select from the right-click menu, Align other audio objects with this track.

If this were not the case, then doing Multi-cam editing in MEP would be pointless.

Thank you so much for this information. I will try it out. That means if I record with external Audio recorder I can synch it to replace the audio recorded on the camera. That's great info......
