I need assistance to activate my software, however I've been getting an ERROR CODE - 14 or invalid product number.

Assuming you entered the full serial number including the P3- prefix.
The error code -14 message means you are putting a valid MAGIX serial number into the wrong MAGIX product, version or edition.
Which product and version are you trying to activate with the serial number you have?
Which product and version is the serial number for?
Did you download the correct program for the serial number you have? A link to the correct download should be in the confimation of purchase email you received along with the serial number for that product.

All IM trying to do is to activate this software that I just bought from best buy magix studio platinum so that I can start using this video editor. Now if you are saying I got the wrong product, I think it doesnt make sense to give me the wrong link just to activate this software, iit doesnt make sense either to give me a serial# that doesnt correspond to the said software. The way I’m starting to understand this whole concept is, you guys just wanted me to purchase a multi-software app before I can activate this app. All I need is just to activate this damn software provided by the right link of INFO thats all I need and we can all move on. I regretted purchasing this product and its just complicated. No Customer support that you can call directly, just a phony phone Number provided in their website. IM just completely disgruntled.
