Need to understand how to import video and sound as one from a flash jump drive, can anyone help me, thank you.

I am using a Lexar Jump drive with Live video as the content, when importing into Magix Movie Edit Pro 17 or 2013 the video plays with no sound and i'v purchased the Activation Code i need to edit the video but i can't because i have no sound.

First suggestion is to check if you have 'Extract sound from videos' ticked under 'File' >> 'Settings' >>  'Program...' >> 'Video/Audio' tab.

What's the file format of your clip? Can you hear the audio OK if you play it with say Windows Media Player direct from the jump drive? Related question is of course do you hear sound in MEP when editing other material?

in addition to Carls answer - copy the files from the Jump drive to the PC hard drive and import from the hard drive.

Running from any form of memory stick is not recommended - they can fail too easily and once they do it is usually catastrophic with very litle chance of recovering data.
