Neither Acid pro 10 nor 11 see my drives

windows 11, Acid pro 10 and 11

In both Acid pro10 and 11 in the explorer pane my three drives are listed, my OS drive :C, my Library drive :D (which has all of my drum loops etc), and my Audio drive :E (for backups). the OS drive has the usual plus sign to expand and see folder contents. My other two drives do not have the plus sign to view folders nor can the drives be clicked on to open them.

The drives work fine in all other programs and open just fine in windows. As well this problem never occurred in older version of Acid which I've been using for over twenty years. Some have suggested permission problems or firewall issues etc. so far I'm completely stumped. has anyone seen this ?

A little more information. I plugged in several external drives, usb etc, and Acid sees them. So it is specific to those two internal drives. I am in the proccess of making multiple back up’s then I will reformat the drives and update you if anything changes. The only difference between the two drives and the OS drive is the Os is an SSD drive on the motherboard and the library/backup drives are disk drives.
