New user having problems with 'quartz.dll' after a few minutes of use, anyone got a fix for this

I just got Movie edit pro 2013 premium for Christmas. loaded it onto my Windows 8.1 system and after a few minutes of use it crashes with a 'quartz.dll fault. I've tried to repair and reinstall the software with no luck. Can anyone help me with this ???

Hi

Quartz.dll problems are related to DirectX ie it is a Windows issue - try re-installing DirectX - it is available from Microsoft.

I checked my Direct x and it's saying it's working fine. Have Directx 11.
