NewBlue Stylizers & NewBlue Essentials not activated.

Jason-Serrano wrote on 7/31/2021, 2:29 AM

I´m using Movie Edit Pro Premium 2020 (acuired through various upgrades).

I´m loading some old projects and getting a watermark on the NewBlue Stylizers  & NewBlue Essentials plugins.
When I click the activate button I´m taken to a NewBlue Manger screen but there is no info about these partiular 2 plugin packs.

I´ve used both of them before without a problem I´m not sure why it´s happening now.
To make matters worse, I can´t find which previous version of Movie Edit came with these plugin bundles.

When I look on my Magix User Products page there is no info about the plugins that came bundled with each version of MEP I bought. The only info or download options are related to the main MEP product and not the plugins that came with it.

I´m not even sure if NewBlue Stylizers & NewBlue Essentials actually came with MEP. Maybe I got them through another MAGIX product like Photostory.

Both NewBlue Stylizers & NewBlue Essentials were certainly installed as part of a Magix bundle but I can´t figure out which?

Also, it seems impossible to conact Magix directly? No customer email support? I can´t find a link anywhere.

Any ideas anyone?

Thanks

Hi Jason.

Normally the activation codes are sent with the original emails and it is best to store them carefully or as a separate text file or printed out for safekeeping as the codes are not re-sent.

They may appear in MEP though. Click on the icon for the effect and see if it is in the box to the right.

Ray.

Hi Ray, thanks for the reply.

I can´t even find the original installation files.

I´ve looked at all the different versions of MEP I´ve bought in the past and can´t find either the NewBlue Stylizers  or NewBlue Essentials installer EXE files. I can´t imagine I purchased them anywhere other than with an MEP bundle.

Is there any chance they were actually packed within an MEP isntaller rather than as seperate installers from NewBlue?

emmrecs wrote on 7/31/2021, 5:52 AM

@Jason-Serrano

The installers for those add-ons would not be included within any MEP installer; rather they would have been supplied to you, along with the needed serial numbers, as download links in the original email you received when your purchase was confirmed. By some chance, do you still have that email?

The New Blue Manager is, as you imply, the app you use to validate and register the apps, but you do need the serial numbers. Have you tried what Ray suggested and attempted to open/use either of those NB plugins? Sometimes, doing this often opens a screen which shows either or both of a download link and the serial number; the latter can then be added on the NB Manager screen.

HI

Try logging in to your account at newbluefx.com with the username/email address and password you used to register the NB products.

There you should see you registered products, serial numbers and download links as shown below:

Do note that very old versions of the effects may not work with the newer versions of MEP.
