Newest upgrade to MEP 17 Premium is running in slow motion...

I just did the upgrade to my MEP 17 Premium to version 17.0.1.140, and now all of the input commands are running dog slow. for example, if I hit the play button to do a preview, it doesn't respond for a few seconds, and then does. When I hit stop, it's slow to execute that command. If I drag an object on the timeline to lengthen it, there is a lag time before the object actually moves. Every input command responds the same way, yet the project I'm playing plays fine. Has anyone else experienced this? My system is an i7 with a damn fast graphics card. I built it to do 3D animation and that works just fine. Anyone else?

Hi Bruce

Try to restart your computer. Or check whether there could be some settings in the program. I am not a user of Movie Edit Pro, but such solutions worked with other MAGIX program. You can also contact MAGIX by e-mail so you can get a reply from a pro (team worker)

Shall it work

Hi

. . . . it doesn't respond for a few seconds, and then does . . .

I had a similar experience , however MEP had not updated, it was a Windows update pending a restart of the computer.

As EmnaNafty has said, restart the computer - Windows button, Power, Restart - not a shut down and power up.

Hi Guys...I'm pretty old, so the old restart trick is my number 1 goto. (remember the days of memory flush because of poor programming:) ) I really hate to think about a reinstall, but that may be my next option. Thanks for the comebacks!
