No Metadata, including title, in Disc at Once burnt cd

SoundForge Pro 14 built 130

I successfully made a track list, and burnt the cd. When it was finished, I used MediaMonkey to see what data had been written, and was surprised to find none. I decided to do another cd from scratch. I ripped the files from the CD, and added metadata. I repeated the process and read the manual. I noticed the only cause for not writing was to NOT have a title and artist for the cd.

In order to burn valid CD Text, you must specify a title for the disc and for each track on the disc (artist information is optional). If the Name/Title box on the CD Information window or Track List window is left blank, a warning will be displayed before burning so you can choose to write the disc without CD Text or cancel burning and add title information as needed.

I'm repeating it for the third time, but the windows that I'm expecting aren't showing up.

CD Information shows the info for the FIRST track and not the cd (I know this for sure since it has a track number). Summary Info also shows only the first track info. I change the track list focus from the 1st to another, and pull up summary info but it's still on the first track.

I'm hoping that if I re-install it, that this problem will be changed. I will also install the 32 bit version.

Suggestions?

AFAIK, 'Summery information 'is not written to the CD metadata.. It is .wav or .frg file metadata.
OTOH, 'CD information' is written to the disc.

Many players (hardware and software) do not display CD text.

I assume you mean Sony's and I found out about that after I got this.

I think I will.

CD Arc 5,2.
It does not support VST plug-ins and cannot export DDP. but other than that...its intuitive and easier than SF... at least in my opinion.

CD Arc .. used to be .. included w/ SF in the SCS days. You could ask Magix customer service for a serial, but I do not know if they can or will oblige.

I had less success with it for getting cd text in the cd. It wasn't worth it at $112. I can do just as well Roxio.

I haven't figured out ddp yet but that is good to know it's available.

I have not figured out DDP either, I am currently experimenting with It . It may have some bugs, All I can get are the loudness statistics text file .. and LU data is typically not needed.. or is an issue with audio CDs. Otherwise all my files' audio and authoring parameters meet Red Book standards and test normally in CD Arc, Vegas and Roxio's Nero..

NOTICE TO OTHER SF PRO 14 USERS: Has anyone else had issues exporting DDP files???
