No video on MOV of MP4 videos with Movie Edit Pro Premium 2022.

I recently upgraded to Movie Edit Pro Premium 2022 and can't see video on .MOV or MP4 videos, I can hear the audio though. I can see them very well with Movie Edit Pro Premium 2017 and all the other video player applications on my PC. I installed the latest QuickTime codecs, but still can't see the video. Need help please.

My struggle is over! I built my (now) system 2 in 2011 when DV was king and MPEG 2 was just coming onto the scene and I needed a more powerful system to cope. Since then we've advanced to MP4 and to bigger and bigger resolutions. I was really suffering, not so much in editing (with proxies) but in encoding, which just took ages. A video, with Neat Video noise reduction applied, would encode at 12% of film speed. My new system 1 does the same job at 160% of film speed. Marvellous. I'm keeping my old system as a capture station for analogue video tapes and DV.

I tried CPU and Microsoft WARP and both gave me video. Immediately the icons on the folder tree view switched from a generic icon to a picture of the actual video. I settled for WARP. Thanks for your help.
