When you reformated your hard drive, did you also have to install Windows again? I just want to make sure I know what you mean by reformat.

If you did indeed reinstall WIndows, make sure you have all the updates for Windows and make sure that your hardware has its latest drivers.

Now, when you say your sound pools items are not working, does that mean your getting an error? Here I am wondering if the samples load, but have no sound or, they do not show at all.

Thanks John for answering and clarifying my question. When I reformatted I re-intalled everything including Win 7. As far as I know I have all the latest updates and all my drivers are up to date. Everytime I try to place an item from the sound pool I get a message saying, "The file does not exist, please check path and file name."

Hi

After you re-installed MMM did you download and install all the extras - ie  soundpool files, synthesizers etc.

If not look under Help for the download options.

John

It sounds to me that the sound pools files are missing. When you installed, was it to the default directory?

Thanks guys for your input. I found the problem. I needed to uncheck the "Use installed Soundpool even after reset" square in the Program Settings panel. Everything is fine now.
