Not impressed enough to buy MEP2014 Plus

I don't have a 4K camera and would rather have MVC encoding and a better cleaner DVD encoder, even if it will only availiable on Video Pro X in the future. In my view, menus are like glossy lables, you only look at them for 1 or two seconds, but the movies' video output quality is more important to me than what was upgraded with this version. I have to pass on this version, because I don't film everyday, and only do about 3-4 long videos a year, which are already done. Unless Magix improves their DVD encoder for my DVD customers? I have no reason to ever upgrade again, unless I get a 4K camera? Right now everything with MEP 13 Plus, is nearly perfect for me.

Are you saying that the DVD/Burn Module is going to be removed from MEP?

Hi

What is your question?

. . . . would rather have MVC encoding . . . .

Presumably you want to make 3D (Stereo) videos - this is available in VPX see image below

The DVD quality is limited by the DVD specification and not MEP/VPX.  With a resolution of 720 * 480 / 720 * 576 the qualty of the image is going to be dependent on the playback device and TV.  The image will be relatively poor when viewed on a HD TV.  The best you can achieve is to maximise the video bitrate so the video will fit on a DVD and this can be done in MEP/VPX.
