Official Magix Program Patches- MTS audio

Like many others on this forum, my MTS audio files went silent with the Windows 10 1803 update. I have done

many of the possible fixes described by the very helpful moderators and contributors, but nothing works-yet. I'm

lucky that I have MEP 2013 on an old computer that I can use in the short term.

This was part of Magix's 5/30/18 response to the problem: Official program patches to deal with the new situation regarding Dolby Digital under this recent Windows 10 update should be forthcoming as well

My questions are: 1. When this official patch is ready-- how will we be notified it is ready? 2. Is this official patch

our last, best chance to get our audio back when all other attempts have failed?

Not sure if there was any announcement on the forum, but I received an email from MagiX customer service on the fix and there is also an entry in an thread about missing audio that can be found here: https://www.magix.info/us/forum/audio-issue-mts-files--1205780/?page=4#ca1393449

You have created a new thread to ask a question about the problem of missing audio. This thread contains all the information etc. about this problem and a solution from Magix. I understand the solution has not apparrently worked for you but creating a new thread merely leads to confusion for other users who may not know to which thread they should respond.

As a result, I am going to close this thread to further postings and ask that all discussion of this problem is posted to the original thread.
