I purchased movie edit pro 12 "registration number (US-04780-01) some years ago before windows 10, and I now have switched computers . I now have tried to install it on my new windows 10 computer , and it won't install . I downloaded the trial version , and tried to use my key , but it did not work .
WHAT CAN I DO TO RESOLVE THIS ?

Movie Edit Pro 12 - released in 2001 - will not work on Windows 10. Windows has changed so much that the installer will not work as you have found.
The trial version you downloaded would be the latest version and is entirely different from MEP 12 and the licence keys for the old version will not work with the new.

Purchase the new version.

Or purchase the upgrade to the latest version. Using your license key (or login) for the old MEP version will most likely entitle you for an upgrade rather than a full New purchase.
