MEP2015 Pro Premium, with latest patch

Ok two things here, first I have sized and positioned my clip, and now I want to have it move from left to right, right click on the clip, mouse over "movement" and ???? anyone see a problem here?

I found out that if I use the one on the top it works, same for top to bottom.

Hi

Guessing games- not a good idea - however the answer is obvious:-

The second and fourth labels are incorrect they should be - Pan left ->right and Pan bottom -> top the actual actions on a clip are correct.

Also do be aware that the actions may reset the clips size, it is better to apply the movement and then resize the clip.

If you select the Effects tab, Movement Effects, Movement templates the wording is almost  correct - the word above on some of the templates  should be top - this is a result of the wrong meaning in English from the literal translation of the German word for top.

Thanks for replying John,

Yes I found out the hard way it rests the size of the clip, I was able to over come this before I posted, kind of silly though. I tried using a template for my pan effect but it didn't move fast enough, I haven't tried to figure out how to edit the speed yet.

Thanks

Robert

Hi,

Try just keyframing the position to move at the speed that you want.

Hi Robert

You can edit the effects curves created by the use of a movement template by using the "Edit Effects Curve" function after selecting the the Size / Position effect window in the Media Pool. Keyframe positions can be stretched and compressed for one axis or all axses, as can the magnitude of the effect . Search the help menu for "Edit effect curves" and display the pages "Effect curves - additional functions" and "Editing an Effects curve in an object" for explanation of the methods.
