Orange Markers on Timeline

When editing a movie on the timeline, some of the clips have an orange marker (looks like a top-hat on its side) which seems to prevent the initiation of some functions (scene detection, copy video effects etc.) I've tried everything to delete these markers but cannot. They are in the same place as the grey chapter markers but are orange and will not budge!

Hi

I presume you mean these markers

They are Scene Markers - and appear when you run the Scene recognition function.

Look up Scene recognition (detection) in the PDF manual available under Help the full description of the feature is there.

Thank you so much John! I will look again at my problem and rephrase it later - it is obviously not scene markers that are causing my "problem"!
