Our organization maintains our laptops and after a hard drive crash my laptop was replaced. I believe this locked up my serial number, can it be reset? Thank you. We have three licenses, however... I am the only one that will be using the product. Let me know if you require the other serial numbers.
A moderator, hopefully, will quickly remove your Serial number from the subject. This is a user forum, not Magix Support. Anyone can now user your SN. Never, ever post things like this, including email addresses, in public forums. You put the SN in the only place that you cannot even go back to, to edit.
It don't work so nothing to loose at this point lol. The form has a section for serial number, didn't think that it would be shared with everyone. I figured this would just be a quick email to customer support, but... no one has gotten back to me.
. . . . It don't work so nothing to loose at this point lol . . . .
Really? - only your use of the software.
. . . . The form has a section for serial number . . . .
The NEW POST form, which you had to use to post here, looks like this and it quite specifically tells you what not to post.
The Support form does ask for your serial number etc - however it goes to Magix Support - it does not post the contents here in the forum.
Which program - full name please - are you trying to activate?
The P2- serial numbers were replaced in 2015 - if you are trying to use the P2 serial number with a later version of the software then you had installed then it will not work.
Thanks for that - as you have a new laptop I would assume it is Windows 10 in which case for the software to communicate with the registration servers some Internet protocols may need turning on - see images below.
Additionally you may have to logon here, with the email address and password the software was registered with, to deactivate the old lap top you should see the registered software under My Products.
This product request was put through the purchasing department. I conducted the research and testing of your product and made the recommendation for the purchase.
We do have access to the Adobe Suite, but... I do like this product. This version is too old to dedicate one more moment to attempting to implement the licence.
Just for you information: no-one who posts here, including the moderators, is a Magix employee, so this is not our software.
Also, considering the version of MEP you have is now very old, you are actually very fortunate that it has continued working until recently.
Your latest post strongly implies that you really did not want the help of this forum community anyway - you are apparently not prepared to dedicate one more moment to attempting to implement the licence - but your post is highly unlikely to be deleted. But the thread will be closed.
