Part of movie not burning - MEP2014 plus

I have tried burning to Blue Ray DVD and also burning image recorder to my computer and for some reason it won't grab a certain part of my movie. I tried making changes to the part of the movie where it stops (22 seconds) and then saving then burning again. I tried deleting the music and video around that section and reimporting to the project with No luck. Everything looks fine on the timeline too.

I have five tabs in one movie. I have set up the dvd menu with the chapter markers within each of the five sections of the movie. All of the buttons on the menu and all parts of the movie play in the burn/preview section but on the final product the the first section (original first tab in my project) stops at 22 seconds and the other buttons for the other chapters in that first section don't do anything. The rest of the movie plays great and the navigation through the menu is perfect.

Magix was crashing quite a bit when I first started the project and I'm wondering if something is corrupt in there now. Any ideas?

Windows 7 if that helps.

Thanks!

HI

Check that the total running time of the 5 movies does not exceed 2 hours.

Do you get any warning messages or error mmessages when setting up to burn or during the burn?

. . . . Magix was crashing quite a bit when I first started the project and I'm wondering if something is corrupt in there now . . . .

Try this:-

  1. deleet the object from the timeline where the movie stops

  2. save the project with a different name and close MEP.

  3. Ising Windows Explorer, in the folder where the source video is, look for two files with the same name as the video, but one will have a .hdp and the other a .h0 file extension, delete both.

  4. Start MEP and reload the saved project.

  5. Add the video back into the correct timeline, save the project and try burning again.
