I had to go back to the patch before 14.0.0.166 because it messed up the bit rates when rendering mp4.

If you have a problem with the software read this post first and then come back with a question giving as much information as possible.

Bitrates are what you set them - they do not get 'messed up' by patches although they may be reset to default settings that you have changed.
