Piano

I want to be able to use the piano in the loops. i am trying to play aroud with the paino and put it into a song without using the samples. basically using the paiono to make my own loops? is this possible?

I am talking about the keyboard that shows up when you push instruments. I can play around with the keyboard but i don't know how to make it apart of the project or edit the pre programed sample. I want to use it to make my own loops.

I also was trying to download some new vst's and loops. I found a site that let you down load them for free. is it possible to use them with music maker 2013?

Hello Wilson:

Are you referring to a MIDI keyboard or a standard 88-key piano?  If you're using a MIDI, check out this link: http://www.magix.info/us/how-to-connect-keyboard-piano-with-computer-ii.online-training.130220.html

If you're talking about a regular piano, that would involve a microphone and a recording device plugged into your discrete soundcard or your motherboard's integrated sound (mic) input.

Hello Wilson:

You certainly can use the third-party loops you found at the site.  If I'm not mistaken, I believe you can export your "piano" creations as a WAV or MP3.  As for looping them, there are a number of FREE apps available.  Run a Google search and select one.  As for the VST question, check out the following discussion: http://www.magix.info/us/music-maker-17-premium-cannot-get-new-vst-plugins.knowledge.723611.html.

Hopes this puts you on the right course.
