Playback maker jumps back to the start

I'm working on MAGIX Movie Edit Pro Plus (Version 16.0.1.22) on Windows 10. When I drag a mp3 file (or mp4) to the edit screen and press play then the playback maker starts moving but when I press stop then the playback maker jumps back to the start, is there any way to keep the playback marker position stay there where I pressed stop?

I've tried to make my question more clear on this edited screenshot, the playback marker with White Arrow next to it is where I start with listening, and the playback marker with Blue Arrow is where I press stop, but when I press stop the playback marker jumps at the begin where I've put the White Arrow, but I want it to stay there where is the Blue Arrow. Thank you

Hi, welcome to the Magix forums.

Go to File>Settings>Program (shortcut Y) and look at the screenshot below of the Playback tab.

Make sure there is a tick in the highlighted box.
