Hi, I was working with my Music maker 16 and then suddenly playback stopped working. Also introduction video does not work when I push play. ( including space bar). I tryed to repair, then reinstall, but nothing changed....
Plese help me with this issue...

If a reinstall didn't fix this, then there has been a fundimental change to the environment of Windows.
Why do I think this?
I am assuming the program worked fine before you attempted to connect the keyboard to your laptop. So, that means the program was at one time functional. Something changed when the keyboard was plugged in that should have been fixed by rebooting the system at the very least. You went an extra distance and re-installed the Music Maker... that didn't change the issue you have... You might want to check in with support... I might even go the support page and see if they have any information on cleaning the Magix INI or registry... I think they have a Magix cleaner tool that you would run after you remove all Magix products. Once that is done, reboot, then re-install the software.
I cannot be certain, this is really not a support area, but that is how I would suspect it... something about plugging in that keyboard and Windows may have caused something else to either be triggered or overwritten that the Music Maker requires for it to be functional... again, that is just my theory.
John-auvil thanks a lot for responding! I think this is last resort to buy a support... I also checked which driver it would show when I choose the option to record a new object , and it is empty-- like there is no driver at all....
If no driver is there, then that is an issue with Windows and the Computer.
Magix doesn't do anything fancy, they take the protocols of Windows to determine what is the sound device, what is the video device and so on.
You might want to run a little diagnostic on you system. If you go to the "Start" button of Windows, then to the "Run" or in some Windows systems, just the Search field and type in DXDIAG and press enter. This will start the Microsoft Direct X Diagnostic tool. In there, you can see your different components.
Check your sound tab(s) and see if it lists your sound device there.
I am not sure what keyboard you plugged in, but if it has installed anything it is likely that installation has corrupted something... it might not be the keyboard at fault, it could be Windows...
For right now, I recommend testing the system. Does Media Player play music? When you plug in the keyboard, does it open anything? Did the keyboard come with software?

Operating system: XP, Vista, or Windows 7
What is the model/maker of your keyboard?
Now after reading your answers it seems you are looking for driver(sound card) in the Music Maker. Did you also check the computer? As John Auvil has said run DXDIAG you will know the driver(sound card/sound device)

Thank you guys for your response! Here is my system info that I missed: windows 7 .
Now, when I was trying to connect keyboard it always said that it can not download the keyboard driver even though it showed it when I went to my computer. Then I tryed to find other drivers online, but they also did not help me so I gave up on my keyboard, disconnected the usb and went back to use my soundpools on MMM16. And surprizenly playback did not respond. Even after i reinstalled the program.
Like you guys mentioned the driver dissapeared somewhere... But all the CD/DVD and any other audio and video is working on my laptab...
So I ran the system check... and it says that there is no problem. .
Yeaaaahh!!!! It is so so unbelivable!!!!! After I read your PDF material, I went to Audio/Midi section and happened to click on direct sound and ok. Then went back to my soundpools and for a last time presed playback ----- and it is wooorking now!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
