Please Help! With Edit Pro 2014 Plus. The program freezes while stating "initializing program layout..."

Please Help!  I have Movie Edit Pro 2014 Plus. When I attempt to open the program, the program freezes on the small loading picture and the message at the bottom reads "initializing program layout...". Then sometimes it will open after 15 minutes of being stuck at the above message.  I have looked in a number of places for a fix to this, but I have yet to find an answer.

Also another question that was giving me issues.  When the program finally decides to open, and I try to load a project... It would find the file. But it would not load it. I have not moved any of the videos, pictures, or music around from the original location on my computer since I have used them in the program. Since I know that that would cause the program not to find it. But the whole project not wanting to load is a new problem for me.

I run Windows 7 professional.

Any advice is appreciated. Thanks!!

Hi

With MEP closed use Windows Explorer to search for videodeluxe.ini - you will need to include hidden and system folders in the search options.

You should find several copies of the ini file - delete or rename the one which has the largest files size, then start MEP.
