Hi,

Seems to work OK here:

Result:

Can you amplify on "...the light does not work"?

And do you really mean the very old "Movie Edit Pro 16 Plus", not 2016?

Yes, it is Movie Edit Pro 2016 Plus :) I put the spotlight on the start of a video clip. It's a hockey highlight video that I wanted to show a quick light on which player to watch. The light is in the correct position when I am in the Magix program and I push play on the player in the program. When I try to export the video, everything else plays, but there is not a spotlight at all.

Are you sure you applied the effect to the object on the timeline, not just preview it with the arrow icon?

If you're sure you have applied it correctly, save the project and re-open it and check that it still previews correctly.

What display mode are you using in Program Settings > Display Options? Try changing it to an alternative.

To proceed without guesswork, we need a detailed description of what you did. A screenshot or two would be helpful, like the one I showed. Then we may need to look at your settings.

Yes, it is part of the timeline. This is the setting for display. Which should I change?

Your screenshot does not show your spotlight. Include the preview monitor as I did. Are you sure that section plays in MEP - it seems to be buried in the fade.

Try changing from Standard mode.

It is on Track 2 Right under the yellow highlighted videoclip.

That is going to be really hard to see because of the fade-in on track 1 and because the length is what, a couple of frames long. Try stretching it out over the length of the object on track 1.

Got it to work by switching from Standard mode.  Thank you!
