Pro x5 closing/crashing spontaneously

I recently upgraded to Pro X 5 from pro x 3. Every now and then it just crashes for no apparent reason. I'm using windows 10 with i7 9th gen and 16GB, which is all up to date and DSP/CPU usage are fine. I'm also using a Prism Lyra 2 interface.

It also, at other times, doesn't save my plugin settings, but oddly it saves some but not others, no matter the track type sample rate etc. for example: 5 instances of the same compressor on different tracks, but 2 out of the 5 don't get saved.

Welcome to the Magix user to user forums.

Are you aware there is a dedicated Samplitude/Sequoia forum here? If not, I would suggest that you register at and repost your question there since that will almost certainly have more users of Samplitude Pro than post here.

unfortunately the forum won't allow me to sign up. Also my auto updates are not working. They just hang. where can i get the patchs tp download and install manually.

BTW your website is very difficult to navigate and takes me round in circles. :(

@Richard-Morrison This is just a user forum and not our website. You can find the patches here: https://www.magix.com/us/support/pro-audio-downloads/ The first version of Pro X5 was very buggy, so I hope that the patches will help.
