Problem after upgrading

Ok, here we go again. For the third time!.... oF all the post and then the website transferred me away without my post being made. I am getting "slightly" irritated by the whole MAGIX experience.

Ok.. In April 2017 I purchased the Movie Edit Pro... I am not sure what edition as I can not get up the menu from where the about option is. Before Christmas, I found the update option in the menu lol, and decided to see if there were any updates available. And the software updated several times. I did not use it much after that because of holiday and such.. but now when I want to use it again the software has changed. Instead of being "one software" it is now divided into three parts. The video player, the "Import, Effects, Templates, Audio, Store" section and the section where you import the videos to and edit and put in music etc. I am sorry, but I do not know the correct terminology. The part with all the drop-down menus from where I choose the rendering options or even the updates are missing....

Is this a completely new interface where I will need to re-find the options or is this an update that has gone completely wrong? Any ideas or suggestions?

Hi, welcome to the Magix forums. Posting problems are not unknown, unfortunately!

In order to help diagnose what has gone wrong with the program interface for you, first, with the program open can you try pressing f9? This should reset the main screen to its default.

If it does not, can you take a screenshot of the program as it appears on your screen, and attach the result to any reply? With a clearer idea of what you are and are not seeing, we may be able to offer advice.
