Problem using lookup tables. Clip goes black.

jagood wrote on 4/13/2018, 3:41 AM

After applying a lookup table i can't make any changes in sharpness or curve.
Only contrast and brightness works. When i adjust anything else the clip goes just black and it only audio left.
After exporting the part is still lost.

Same thing on applying a lookup on a clip with curve changes made before. Its goes black.

Hi,

Confirmed. Looks like a bug. Anyone else?

You can switch to Compatibility mode to keep working, but this is not a solution.

Hi

Confirmed, however there is a condition - only Camera LUTS are affected, Effects LUTS work as they should.

Has the location of the LUTS changed?

VPX no longer picks up my custom 3D LUTS and there is no option to add them into the program - there use to be an option to select other LUTS which I now cannot find.

When you create a sub folder in LUTCamera location and paste the LUTs there it is working.

Confirm.
I have the same problem. :(

Hi

The issue is definitely with the LUTCamera, if I copy a custom cube to both the LUTCamera and LUTEffects folder and apply it to a video object, the cube from LUTEffect folder works as it should, however applying the same cube from the LUTCamera folder causes the screen to go black.

Similarly if I copy the Camera LUTS to the LUTEffect folder they all work correctly.

The issue appears to be with VPX referencing the LUTCamera folder.

@jagood - thanks for that. I now have my 3rd party cubes transferred to the LUTEffect folder.

If the clip does not have any correction, the problem does not occur.

If I change the color curve, the screen is black.

For me, this is the fault of the last update. First it broke it https://www.magix.info/us/forum/patch-for-video-pro-x-v-15-0-5-211-broken-fullscreen-function--1200096/

Now another error came. Magix still did nothing about it.
