Exactly what do you wish to do? Export for what and where? Sound Forge is a multi-channel software and does not have tracks like Vegas, Reaper, PTs and other multi-track DAWs. Which version of SF? Peruse **IMPORTANT!** - INFORMATION REQUIRED TO HELP YOU, which is in the Vegas Pro forum but much of the content is universal.
I would like to export tracks to a file. It does not appear that version 15 has this capability. The "Help" page also appears to be lacking content under "Using Markers, Regions, and Commands". It has subjects with what looks like expandable arrows but there is no additional content. I tried to do a web search on how to do "track to file" [so that I can trim edge noise]. I have seen instructions how to do it with Audacity but not Audio Studio. The one solution I found on the web didn't appear to have the functions available in version 15. Am I missing something?
Firstly, Sound Forge is a multi-channel editing app. It does not have 'tracks' like a multi-track DAW lke PTs. Vegas, Acid, Reaper and Audacity. You can however copy/paste and select the audio in individual channels. You could also delete unwanted channel(s) and 'Save as' which would be similar to 'track to file'
FWIW, the replace or interpolate tool usually works good for cleaning up short duration noises.
