proDAD Mercalli 2.0 missing from Movie Edit Pro Premium 2022

Hi folks

I just updated to Movie Edit Pro Premium 2022 and I noticed that proDAD Mercalli 2.0 is missing (which I noticed someone else mentioned on another thread).

I know that VEGAS Video Stabilization is an alternative image stabiliser, but I have found proDAD Mercalli 2.0 to be a superior option for my particular workflow.

I still have and use Video Pro X 11 which does have a functional proDAD Mercalli 2.0, so if there is a way to copy and edit the right files from that installation (ini files and/or registry), I am open to that.

I have also flicked an email to Magix support to see if they can offer a suggestion (otther than to say “just use VEGAS Video Stabilisation”

Hi.

I don't think it is compatible with MEP 2022 as there seems to be a new version not included as standard with MEP 2022.

Ah well. At least I still have VPX to use Mercalli if it comes to the crunch.

Still, I don't regret the purchase. There are plenty of improvements. It now even utilises my Nvidia GTX960 for the MP4 exports, including HEVC (confirmed with GPU-Z).
