Program Monitor window showing double image

Having been working fine with MEP 2020 for months, a few days ago, my Program Monitor window started showing a double image, two identical side by side, on the video stream of the project I am working on. See pic attached.

I have loaded old projects and started new projects and the problem persists so it implies there is something set wrong at the heart of the program.

If I use titles or section effects, the dotted line box appears in the correct aspect but with the double image underneath, so it makes viewing what I am doing impossible.

When I render/export the videos, the resulting video appears normal, without a double image so it is entirely related to the program monitor window, not to any effect being applied to the videos in the project.

Anyone any idea what is happening here and how to stop it, please?

MEP 2020 version 19.0.2.58
Windows 10
i5-3210M laptop 2.5GHZ
Intel HD Graphics 4000 onboard

Hi.

Can you possibly do a screen grab of the problem and show it here please. Use the print screen key on your keyboard and edit and save in paint, then post here please.

Hi Alan.

That would be the way to upload an image but there may be a file size upload limit.

I try to keep my images to less then 1MB and less than 1080 x 1920 and they seem to load OK.

Unfortunately I can't view your image on one drive as for some reason my account seems to have been frozen and can't be unfrozen for 24 hrs. No idea why that happened.

In the mean time while running MEP try pressing the f9 button on your keyboard and see if MEP resets itself.

Right click on the monitor window and check mark STANDARD (2D). I assume you've accidentally checked side by side at some time.

I must have Shift+. [period] some time and not realised.

So now I know that I can have various views in Program Monitor as a bonus.

Not sure why I would want a double vision view, unless it's for a 3D effect but now I know.

Such a relief.
