Hi Gang
For experimentation, I've switched camcorders - trying to get MEP2016 Plus to recognize a similiar Panasonic Camcorder. This one is a Panasonic AG-HVX200K P2 Older HD Camcorder (Limited to 1080). Not surprisingly I recieved the prompt 'Requires MPEG2 Codec MainConcept'. The previous Camcorder was a standard definition Panasonic AG-DVX100B. I was under the impression I already downloaded an MPEG2 Patch? In any event, (from what I understand about the HVX200 P2), this may be a bit more complicated. Some folks take the P2 card out of the camera and plug it into a slot using alternate software? (not sure yet)? Modern HD cameras seem to dump/connect with less complication?
BTW: The AG-HVX200 is a fixed-lens hybrid camcorder released in December 2005 for 60 Hz market and April 2006 for 50 Hz market. The camcorder allows file-based recording onto P2 cards, as well recording SD footage onto traditional MiniDV cassettes.
Any Ideas?
Thank You ...
