Hi

This is usually an issue with the sound card - assuming you have an integrated sound card try the following:

Check that the drivers are up to date

Right click the speaker icon bottom right of your screen and select Playback devices

Ensure that the Speakers is selected, if not select it and click Set default button

Select the Recording tab in the same dialog as 3

In Movie Edit Pro File press the Y key to open the program settings and check that the sound settings are as or similar to those shown below

Please read this post - if the above do not fix the issue please come back with more information including computer specification, Windows version, Movie Edit Pro version number - found under Help, About . . . and any other relevant information.

Hello again, tried with new speakers, but it did not work. I tried your solution. I have also tried a free software as MoviePlusSE and VideoPad. No problems here. I have used Magix Video software with good results but this is not working.
