I'm not sure it was necessary to create another thread about this problem!

First, I note from your screenshot, that you actually have Video Pro X17, not Video deluxe 2026!

However, ALL the questions which you have been previously asked in your other threads are still pertinent and still requiring answers, please!

Please help us to help you by supplying as much detailed information as you can! In the meantime, with apologies because I do not want to see users left questioning to which existing thread they should post, I am going to close the other threads to further posts, but you can still read (and answer here) all the questions raised.

Thanks, I do have Video deluxe 2026!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I uploaded the wrong screen shot, sorry!

As you see, I now have a new problem, and yes, I am sorry I started a new thread, as you may have guessed, unlike yourself, computers are not my strong point. (I really do wish I knew more, I understand how frustrating it is)

I start to edit, and as I move the cursor along, the display part of the programme (Not the pc screen) goes black as you see in the screen shot

I am also wondering is this pc "not good enough" for your programme, no not joking, many years ago I had to get a new pc just for your programme (The one that has windows 10) If you think this is possibly the case, what would you suggest I have that will run video pro x17 ? No, not being sarcastic, as I have said, computers are not my strong point.

HI

The Error code: CopyToAdapter by another user 9 months ago, the user had to disconnect (ungroup) the audio from the video, and ensure they were on separate tracks.

The filename 'type' suggests the video clip is from a Canon camera and I notice from the image above that there does not appear to be any audio grouped with the video.

  • Has the audio been removed ?

  • If not is it on a lower track?

  • If neither of the above select the video clip and press Ctrl + H, does the audio appear?

A MediaInfo analysis of the video clip on the timeline may help to determine if the encoding formats, for the video and audio, are not a ' normal combination' for the video file format, you can use MediaInfo Online to analyse the video file, copy the analysis data and paste into your reply.
