Hi,

On a FireWire card 2 ports available, one port is for INPUT and the other is for OUTPUT some card has a third one inside for INPUT. Check the port you need to use.

Hi sathe,

I guess your PC has win7 OS? Then you may need to read Johnebaker's document:

Hi,

Since you have camera control through Movie Edit, it seems like your Firewire ports are working and not blown. Can you check to see if you can capture any video using a free utility like WinDV (DV) or HDVSplit (HDV)? This would at least allow you to capture your video and then import it into Movie Edit Pro.
