I have never tried the blue socket for any of my input devices - and no, my connections are at the back of the computer, I do have some connections at the front - but for some reason or another they are not workig{I will consult my computer engineer on this matter}.

I will let you know the outcome, as if this is a success - it could prove useful to other users of the MMM.
