Hi Guys,

I have just purchased the Magix Movie Edit Pro 2015 Software and downloaded the Red Giant triplet of Knoll, Retrogradee and Chromatic . However and it's possibly me being newbie stoopid. BUT where do I find these effects. I have installed them after the download.

Also Does anyone have any advice on where to find other goodies to enhance this software, effects, plugins, fonts etc?

Thankl You all for reading.

Craig

Hi Craig and welcome to the Magix Community,

You say you downloaded the RG effects. By that, I understand that you went to Help, Free download, and downloaded and installed everything.

There is a second step required in case you didn't see it.

Help, Install extra programs, and you will see them again on the list. You have to do this too.

Once done, click on the Effects tab of the Media pool and open Red Giant Universe, probably the last one on the list. The 3 effects are there.

To answer your second question, try Pixelan. I have done a few tutorials on only 2 of their products. I have the whole suite. There are others like New Blue and proDad.that have plugins for MEP, but you always have to be careful to make sure that they will actually work. Also, MEP2015 is a 64bit program, so you will need the 64bit plugins.

I suggest that you first look at what you have with MEP. There is a lot and you can do a lot without requiring more third party effects.

If you need to edit/perfect sound, then Magix Audio & Music Lab 2014 Premium is very good. The other version, Audio Cleaning Lab 2014 is not.

Enjoy!
