I have intel i7 3.2 ghz processor and 16 gig of ram. I made no changes to the mp4 parameters. The program does nothing but freeze and after about 15 seconds it closes. I have a 3tb hard drive with 2tb free.
Difficult to say then. The processor and ram should be up to it (Depending on the file size of the original clip)
If you are running the program and reading the source video and recording the clip all on the same hard drive there may be room there for the program to trip over itself. That's a lot of data being pushed around. Can you try exporting to another hard drive?
Can you keep track of the CPU temperature?
What command are you giving to eport with? ie, export movie or export to device?
How big is the original file and what format?
You are not even getting an export box showing how much has been processed?
Is your operating sytem up to date?
Are you just trying to change the file format or have you done any editing to the file?
