Hi

Assuming the 'image objects are actually 2 component effects ie an image object and title object, then click the image object and ungroup it from the title object, you should now be able to resize the image independently of the title object, once you have the image as you require I would suggest regrouping the 2 objects.

that's what i do. The title object is freely editable, while the picture object is inviolable. that's what i do. The title object is freely editable, while the picture object is inviolable. After ungrouping the title for the object I have "Size / Position / Rotation", but for image objects (Single alpha ) this function is not available

Hi.

If you can solo and see the flag only, then try

Re-import and use the jpg which you should be able to resize.

Not as elegant as using the original but at least a workaround.

Thank you very much for the hints. The flags are animated, so * .jpg probably not, but thanks for the hint

I also got this answer from Magix Support:" You are right, it is not possible to apply the SIze/Postion/Roation effect to these objects. i am not sure if this is wanted so it could be a bug. I will address this in our next developer meeting. As a workaround you could remove the main video from the timeline so that you only see the image object aniamtion and then export this as MVD file.

Then open a new project and drag this MVD file into the arranger. Now it should work. "

It works, but it is a laborious and time-consuming solution. I'm still waiting to see what Magix will do with it :)

Hi

. . . . The flags are animated, so * .jpg probably not . . . .

The same process works if they are a video clip and title object, however if the flag is an 'effect' ie not an image/video + title object if the flag then they cannot be edited directly.

it all fits. This can be broken down into 3 separate elements and edited. I can dump to jpg, edit and animate. But this is how I could do with any picture of the flag. But I didn't buy a ready-made element to break it down and edit it now, it takes time and work. Especially playing with the alpha channel. I'm waiting for a reply from Magix. for now, I will follow the prompts. Thank you for your help.

Hi,
I am not fluent in this subject (unfortunately) I make films for my own purposes and I'm just learning :). Following your advice, I already have a map file, unfortunately it has a black background (alpha channel) and it's OK if the flag has different colors but I fell on Albani where there is a black eagle. I remove the black background (Chroma key) but by the way the eagle also becomes transparent. I am asking for help again.

@pawko13

Hi.

Short of adding a track above it and placing a small black rectangle where the eagle is, no I can't think of a way around it.

These effects are often bought 'As Is', (If you look at the end user licence agreements of the effects bought) meaning they are not meant to be reverse engineered or altered in any way. They are often made in such a way as to make them as difficult as possible to alter.
