Return of the product since it crashed during setting preferences

I wish to return the Vegas Pro 19 product and obtain a refund.  It stopped working multiple times during just the setup of preferences and screen layouts.  It is possible that my PC is unable to handle this version but I am unwilling to invest in a new PC since my video editing is a hobby. My PC is a windows 10 64-bit 3.9 MHz unit equipped with an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 770 graphics card. I was not planning to edit either 2K or 4K video but liked some of the new features.

What is the process to accomplish the return and reimbursement.  I am hoping that you can just invalidate the serial numbers for my product and allow me to de-install it.
