Revolta 2 missing from MMM Premium 2014

Hi all:

Downloaded and installed MMM Premium 2014 yesterday -- then entered purchase code and activated.

Found Revolta 2 was missing from the instrument panel. It appeared in the dropdown menus but I got the following message when I tried to select it.

" The following VST plug-in cannot be loaded. Revolta 2.dll"

I finally deleted and reinstalled the programme and now Revolta 2 is missing completely -- no longer even shows up in the instrument dropdowns.

Running Windows 7.

Any ideas?

Hi

I do not have MMM 2014 however if it is like the previous versions then you have to download the second half of the software containing more synthesizers, more sound pools and effects?

They are available under Help, Update program/ Upgrade functions, Download free synthesizers and sound packets (or something similar)

Thanks John, you're right that lots of stuff has to be downloaded after the primary install, and I've done that with no problem. But Revolta is meant to be part of the main install, and it's missing (or half missing -- but not working in either case).

Hi

Try resetting the program to its default settings, if you have not already done so, - under File, Settings

If this does not work then unistall MMM and run the Magix Cleaner tool available here - you must do this otherwise bits left behind during the uninstall affect the re-install - then re-install MMM again.

If none of these work contact support at Magix.

Thank for the suggestions John. Tried all of these just now, but same outcome, so raised support ticket.

I would suggest deleting this file:
C:\Users\Your computer name\AppData\Roaming\MAGIX\Music Maker 2014\VstPlugins.ini

This should force the program to reload and scan the VST directory.

Worked on MM13 not on my MM14 but worth a try.
