the thing i find realy anoying is if you join 2 . 3 videos together you have to drop the video on the second track then move the bar under so you get more space to the richt and than place the video after the first
When you say a previous version of Magix, do you mean something like Easycut or Fastcut rather than an earlier version of Movie Edit Pro?
If so then yes, it will be less intuitive as it's a more complex program with more choice. Normally more choice just means more complex adjustments and less automation. This allows more creativity but at the same time is more difficult to get the desired results and easier to get things wrong.
Not quite the answer I was expecting - to rephrase the question - have you used any other video editor, eg Premiere, Final Cut, Vegas, Pinnacle, Avid, etc, before you started with Movie Edit Pro?
