Hi,

Yes. Same method whether it's a video clip or a still image, as in this illustration:

Hello Terrypin. Thank you for responding. The problem is I cannot get the window you show. The only 'effects' button I can find is up on the toolbar. You are showing another one below, to the right, along with 'import, fades and title'. I cannot get that. Certainly, I can only get into 'timeline' mode by pressing 'edit' top right. (Storyboard, scene overview and timeline modes are then in their own rectangular, moveable window on a completely blank, black window)  But then I lose the playback window, top left, and presumeably the other options you showsuch as 'effects' under which is 'rotation'.

Hello again Terrypin. I've got it! I removed the program and reinstalled it. It all makes better sense now. Thanks for your response.

As a further comment, although I now have the 'window' button on the toolbar which was missing before I reinstalled, I now find that I cannot alter the fade length. It stubbornly remains at 0s. Even when I do alter it, click 'apply to all' etc, only one fade appears. I'm beginning to wonder if my PC is at fault but I don't know where to look. I've wasted a lot of time on this and I may take up fishing!

I'm confused. Please start a new thread for each separate problem, as your more recent comments/requests seem unrelated to rotating a video clip.

You'll also need to be more specific about exactly what steps you take and what you see at each stage, with screenshots unless it's obvious.

Hello terrypin. YOU'RE confused! Well I Have with your help and by reinstalling the program, now got the 'window' button, which was missing before. So no problem with rotating videos. But now, as I've described, I can't apply fades to all except one at a time (and there are about 80), or alter their length. And I can't alter the amount of time each picture shows for.
